Roma have reportedly shifted their attention to another Atletico Madrid attacker.

The capital club’s pursuit of Samu Omorodion seems to have hit a wall as Atletico Madrid are reluctant to sell and are said to have rejected a €40 million proposal for the 20-year-old striker.

As a result, the Giallorossi decided to focus on Atletico’s Rodrigo Riquelme instead.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma made the first inquiries for Riquelme.

Atletico’s demands for the 24-year-old winger are also quite elevated.

The Colchoneros are reportedly asking for €25 million to let the player go.

Riquelme collected a total of 3 goals and 4 assists in 34 appearances for Diego Simeone’s side this past season.
