Roma are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and one of the players the capital club are keen on is Napoli’s Michael Folorunsho.

The 26-year-old midfielder is currently serving his loan at Hellas Verona but is expected to be back on Napoli’s transfer list this coming summer.

According to Il Messaggero, Roma want more depth in midfield and, in addition to Nahitan Nandez who is closing in on a free transfer to the capital, the Giallorossi have also shown interest in Folorunsho.

The player seems to fit the list of characteristics that Daniele De Rossi is looking for.

After spending last season in Serie B with Bari, Folorunsho scored 5 goals and 1 assist in 34 appearances in Italy’s top flight this season.
