Roma team doctor Riccardo del Vescovo spoke to SportMediaset Premium after Roma’s 3-1 win over Sassuolo on the condition of Florenzi:
“We’ll run diagnostic tests as soon as we get back to Rome tonight. It’s still early but there are a couple of positive aspects to note: one is that the knee hasn’t swollen up too much, and the other is that from the first tests the joints seem fairly stable. The next step is to go through and rule out the range of potential injuries following a violent trauma like this, however, there are a couple of good signs there.”
