Roma are on their way to renewing Nemanja Matic’s contract for an additional year.
According to the latest report by Il Messaggero, the Serbian midfielder must complete 18 appearances with at least 45 minutes played in order to activate the option which will allow him to extend his stay in the Italian capital.
Therefore, it is only a matter of weeks before the ex-Man United will renew his contract for a further year until 2024 and earn around €3.5 million in wages which are subject to growth decree.
