Roma are working on Artem Dovbyk’s signing from Girona with the intention of closing the deal by the end of next week.

The Giallorossi see in Dovbyk the most suitable replacement to Romelu Lukaku who left the club earlier in the month after his loan from Chelsea came to an end.

Dovbyk spoke with De Rossi several times and the player has already an agreement with Roma.

This conversation between player and coach was fundamental in making the player feel important in the project and therefore getting him on Roma’s side.

According to what was said by journalists Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto during a live broadcast on Playback, Roma has an offer of 30 million euros plus 5 in bonuses ready to deliver to Girona.

The two clubs will discuss this package in a meeting set for this coming week.
