Roma are expected to make the official announcement of Bryan Cristante’s renewal in the coming weeks as the club’s policy has been to finalize such agreements during the breaks for international duty.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Cristante has already signed the renewal which will include an extension until 2027 and a boost in wages with the midfielder earning around €3 million per year. The decision was also approved by Jose Mourinho.
Cristante was recently forced to leave Coverciano and thus forfeit the next friendlies with Italy due to a severe inflammation in his left wrist which will require emergency surgery.
The player is expected to fully recover in time for January, with the renewal announcement to soon follow.
