Roma and Daniele De Rossi are set to continue working together for years to come after the legendary captain returned as head coach in January.

With only one more Serie A matchday left, De Rossi led the Giallorossi to 14 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses after taking over managerial duties in the aftermath of Jose Mourinho’s dismissal from the club.

In recent weeks, Roma confirmed De Rossi’s long-term appointment, announcing the decision to extend his stay as club head coach.

According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, Roma and De Rossi have now finalized the last details of a new agreement which will run until 2027.

The capital club are expected to make the official announcement in the next days.
