Roma are ready to finalise their search for a new sporting director ahead of a busy summer transfer window.
The capital club have narrowed down their auditions to two candidates, reports Il Tempo. According to the Italian newspaper, the Giallorossi are eyeing Francois Modest of Monza and Florian Maurice of Stade Rennais.
Both executives are still under contract with their respective clubs which has forced Roma to postpone the official announcement of the long-awaited appointment.
Final considerations are being made by the club’s upper management – as Modesto seems to be in pole position to fill the sporting director vacancy – and an announcement is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
