Roma are finalizing their search for the next sporting director who will replace Tiago Pinto.
Following Pinto’s departure in February, the capital club are yet to appoint his successor.
With the season winding to an end and Daniele De Rossi steadily being linked with a long-term stay as Roma’s head coach, the Giallorossi are now said to be narrowing down the list of candidates for the sporting director vacancy.
According to Leggo, Roma CEO Lina Souloukou and the Friedkins are working day and night to secure the new executive in order to announce him within the next month.
Monza director Francois Modesto is still the leading candidate for the job.
That same period of time (end of April) will also coincide with the planned discussions revolving around Daniele De Rossi’s long-term future at the club.
