After having learned of Paulo Fonseca’s two-match ban yesterday, Roma immediately instructed club lawyer Antonio Conte to launch an appeal, reports Il Tempo. There is a recent precedent that bodes well for the Giallorossi in this case: Torino boss Walter Mazzarri, who was sent off against Parma, had his ban reverted to the ban as he was able to be on the bench in the following match day. The appeal should be heard by the Court of Appeals in the middle of next week.
