With five straight wins to open the new season, Jose Mourinho is getting ready to apply a major turnover in the Conference League match on Thursday against CSKA Sofia.

The Portuguese technician does not want to take any chances and might give an opportunity to younger players who haven’t yet had the time to shine.

According to Il Tempo, Kumbulla (who was absent on Sunday due to a case of gastroenteritis) might be featured from the first minute at the back, along with Riccardo Calafiori who will replace Matías Viña on the left flank.

Smalling might also make a starting appearance after recovering from his last muscular injury.

Moreover, Veretout might be rested with either Diawara or Villar slotting in. Up front, there is a chance we might see the trio of El Shaarawy, Carles Perez and Eldor Shomurodov.

Borja Mayoral is likely to be used as a substitute in the second half.
