Roma are working to eliminate the release clause present in Paulo Dybala’s contract.
Due to the recent transfer rumours linking Dybala with a potential exit from the Italian capital, Roma have made it their priority to rediscuss the current conditions of the player’s contract.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the release clause is only valid until the end of the month. Once it expires, Dybala’s entourage could suggest to renew it for next year.
However, Roma plan to eliminate it altogether and offer the Argentine attacker a new long-term deal with a salary increase that would go beyond €6 million.
The meeting between Dybala’s agents and Roma is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
