Roma are set to make a decision on Gini Wijnaldum’s future in the coming weeks.
The Dutch midfielder is currently on loan from PSG until the end of the season.
His wages of up to €10 million are being covered by his parent club, but Roma will soon have to decide whether to activate the option in his contract and sign the ex-Liverpool man on a permanent deal or let him return to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Il Tempo, if signed on a permanent basis, Wijnaldum would be eligible for growth decree, significantly reducing the club’s financial effort in covering his salary.
