Roma to decide on Jose Mourinho’s future within next three months

Roma are expected to make important considerations regarding Jose Mourinho’s future within the next few months.

Since the Special One’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024, Roma are to evaluate the team’s progress in the manager’s third year in the Italian capital and discuss long-term plans with him.

According to Leggo, regardless of how the season goes, Mourinho is not at risk of leaving before the expiry of his deal. Similarly, his exit next summer is far from guaranteeed.

The newspaper claims that Roma will meet with Mourinho before the end of the year to confront him about his objectives for the future and make a final decision for the managerial position.

Mourinho would be keen on staying but would need more reassurances. Roma, on the other hand, want to see the team qualify to the Champions League in order to guarantee the stability of their long-term project.
