Roma to enter talks for Bryan Cristante’s renewal

Andy Mattioli

Roma and Bryan Cristante plan to continue working together for years to come with General Manager Tiago Pinto openly telling the media that the midfielder “is bound to stay here a long time.”

Cristante – whose contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire in 2024 – was famously tracked by other Italian clubs including Milan and Juventus over the course of the summer.

However, Jose Mourinho put a stop to those rumors and had Cristante play a pivotal role in the first few games of the season.

As Roma are about to engage with talks for Nicolo Zaniolo’s renewal, the capital club want to do the same with Cristante in the coming weeks. Pinto is expected to meet with Cristante’s agent soon in order to lay the foundations for a renewal, possibly until 2026.
