Roma have met with Alvaro Morata’s agent this afternoon.
The capital club are interested in signing the Spanish striker as a summer replacement of Tammy Abraham is expected to be out with a knee injury well into 2024.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto met with Morata’s agent earlier today in order to assess the situation regarding the player’s release clause.
During the meeting, Pinto was presented with high demands both on the part of the player and the Spanish club.
As a result, the Portuguese director will now address the situation with the club’s ownership and decide if and how to proceed with a deal for Morata.
