Roma want to continue relying on wide man Nicola Zalewski for years to come.
The Polish international – who is currently representing his country at the World Cup in Qatar after emerging from the capital club’s Primavera a year ago and climbing Mourinho’s ranks in the second half of last season – is looking to extend his stay with the Giallorossi.
Despite his contract being valid until 2025, Roma want to increase his salary – as Zalewski currently earns €500,000 – and wave off any interest from abroad after several European including teams the likes of Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund inquired about the 20-year-old in the summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma plan to hold discussions with Zalewski’s entourage after the New Year.
