Roma are among the 20 clubs placed under investigation from UEFA for breaching rules of Financial Fair Play in 2020/21.
According to The Times, UEFA is preparing to announce a list of sanctions for several top European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Inter, Juventus Marseille and Roma.
The newspaper claims that some teams – such as PSG and Olympique de Marseille – will face on financial sanctions, whereas others – including Roma – could face tougher punishment in the form of transfer restrictions.
More developments are expected to follow as UEFA ready to release an official communication.
