Roma to finalize Ola Solbakken’s free transfer for January

Roma are closing in on Ola Solbakken’s free transfer for January from Bodo/Glimt. The Giallorossi will welcome the Norwegian attacker as their primary reinforcement after the World Cup.

As reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, the capital club have been in constant contact with Solbakken’s entourage for the past few weeks. The player – who has been out with a shoulder injury – insists on making the switch to the Italian capital.

Interest from other teams, including Napoli, never materialized in a concrete offer. Thus, Roma are ready to make the decisive step in negotiations.

The Italian newspaper reports that Roma will finalize all of Solbakken’s contract details in the upcoming international break.

This will allow Solbakken to smoothly transition to Italy from Bodo/Glimt once his contract with Norwegian club expires on December 31st later this year.
