Before last night’s match, Jose Mourinho’s biggest fear was to find more of his players test positive for COVID-19 after Bryan Cristante and Gonzalo Villar did on Saturday morning.
Fortunately, Il Tempo reports that consecutive series of tests conducted before the game did not yield any positive cases.
While Cristante and Villar will continue their 10-day quarantine, the rest of the team will follow a strict mandatory home-work-home protocol.
The Giallorossi hope to have Cristante and Villar available for the game against Bologna on December 1st. Obviously, for that to happen both players will have to first test negative for COVID-19 on two consecutive tests.
