The Giallorossi legend has in fact reached 50 years of service at his boyhood club which he joined in 1973: his debut came in Roma 2-0 Ternana on 9 September of that same year in a Coppa Italia match for the Primavera.

He wore the Giallorossi shirt for 16 seasons, collecting 402 appearances, scoring 47 goals, winning the 82-83 Scudetto, 5 Italian Cups, 2 Primavera championships and one Primavera Italian Cup.

The club announced on their official website that they will host an awards ceremony at half-time of Roma-Monza on Sunday afternoon during which Bruno Conti will receive a special recognition for his hard work at Roma.
