The future of Eldor Shomurodov shall be determined later today as Roma plan on meeting with Bologna to further discuss the Uzbek’s transfer to the Rossoblu, reports Il Messaggero.
Shomurodov does not fit Mourinho’s plans going forward and the Portuguese technician has instructed the club to pursue an alternative to the 27-year-old.
Andrea Belotti is Roma’s priority to replace Shomurodov. However, first the Giallorossi must reach an agreement with Bologna.
The capital club are pushing for a permanent transfer, whereas Bologna want Shomurodov on loan with option to buy.
Today’s meeting will serve to bridge the gap between Roma’s demands and Bologna’s proposal.
