Roma to hold talks with Nicola Zalewski for contract extension

Roma are looking to secure the services of wide-man Nicola Zalewski following the youngster’s first season with the senior team in Leonardo Spinazzola’s absence.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the capital club are ready to open talks with Zalewski’s entourage in order to discuss a contract extension until 2027.

The extension could see Zalewski earn a salary bump as the Polish international is currently on a €500,000 contract.

Last year, Zalewski’s contract was renewed until 2025 but the 20-year-old’s impressive impact under the guidance of Jose Mourinho seems to have convinced the club to rely on him as a long-term option.
