Roma to keep Edoardo Bove in the capital despite interest in Italy

Edoardo Bove of Roma celebrates after the Serie A match between Genoa CFC and AS Roma at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on November 21, 2021 in Genoa, Italia

Edoardo Bove continues to be linked with several teams in Italy, such as Sassuolo and Cremonese; yet, Roma do not intend to let the young talent go.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Bove has already received several offers from Serie A and Serie B.

General Manager Tiago Pinto has rejected all approaches at the request of José Mourinho who wants to keep Bove at his disposal.

The Italian newspaper reports that despite his limited playing time this past season, the 20-year-old midfielder is on very good terms with the Special One.

Mourinho wants to rely on Bove for next season as a valuable back-up option.
