Roma are reportedly taking the first steps toward negotiating a new contract for star attacker Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine forward was recently the author of his first hat-trick since his arrival in the Italian capital.
Dybala is said to be pleased with his time at Roma and is enjoying his stay in the capital despite rumors linking him with a possible exit in the summer.
His current contract is set to expire in 2025 and Roma could soon choose to advance a new deal until 2026.
However, Leggo reports that Roma President Dan Friedkin has put all such discussions on hold as he intends to let the new sporting director – who is yet to be announced – make the decision himself on whether to proceed with Dybala’s renewal or not.
