Roma are working to resolve Ebrima Darboe’s future after the former Primavera player spent the majority of last season on the bench.
The midfielder failed to impress Mourinho throughout Roma’s campaign and now a potential exit from the capital may be in sight.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma will meet with Darboe’s entourage next week and discuss his future.
The 21-year-old has so far drawn interest mainly from abroad: Anderlecht have been monitoring the player over the past few months, as well as several French clubs are eyeing Darboe.
Earlier in November 2021, Darboe signed an extension with the club until 2026.
