Roma have reportedly put Tigre attacker Mateo Retegui in their sights as the Italian is setting himself up to be a major transfer target in Europe this coming summer.
So far this year, the 23-year-old has scored 6 goals in 7 appearances. Last year, Retegui collected 22 goals and 4 assists in 40 appearances for Tigre.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Giallorossi have made inquiries for Retegui in recent weeks and are expected to hold a meeting with the player’s entourage.
Similarly, Inter and Milan have also contacted Retegui’s representatives.
However, Atletico Madrid are considered the latest team to join the race for the youngster.
