Alessandro Florenzi is expected to make his move to Milan permanent in the coming weeks, something which the Roman born player had wanted ever since he joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2021 after two unsuccessful loan spells at Valencia and PSG.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting will be held shortly between Roma and Milan to discuss the final details of the fullback’s transfer.

The initial loan deal included a buy option worth €4.5 million. Earlier reports claimed that Milan may try and ask for a discount.

Nevertheless, both clubs want the same and that is to have 31-year-old Florenzi make a permanent switch to Stefano Pioli’s team.
