Roma are aiming to rediscuss the future of Mile Svilar in the coming months.

Following the young goalkeeper’s surprising ascent as Roma’s number one option in goal, the Giallorossi wish to address the player’s long-term future at the club.

This wish comes in light of recent interest the player has drawn in England and Spain, with several European clubs sending their scouts to monitor the 24-year-old’s progress under Roma boss Daniele De Rossi.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the capital club are expected to meet with Mile Svilar’s entourage at the end of the season.

The meeting will serve to clarify the player’s plans as well as the club’s vision for his role in their long-term plans: ideally, Roma would like to keep Svilar if he continues to grow which would allow them to not have to look for a starting shot-stopper in the summer window.
