Roma are set to meet with Paris Saint-Germain in the coming hours to finalise Gini Wijnaldum’s transfer to the Italian capital.

According to Il Messaggero, the two clubs will meet later this morning in Israel and discuss the details regarding Wijnaldum’s salary which is the last obstacle standing in the way of a successful deal.

Furthermore, the player is expected to earn €3 million in bonuses if he were to stay in Paris beyond July 31st.

There is growing optimism that an agreement will be reached within this weekend.
