Roma to meet with West Ham for Gianluca Scamacca

Roma are not quitting their pursuit of Italian attacker Gianluca Scamacca.

The ex-Sassuolo man is the club’s first choice to replace injured Tammy Abraham.

Despite encountering difficulties in negotiating with West Ham, Roma plan to meet the Premier League side in the next few days, reports Corriere dello Sport.

Scamacca has already given his approval to the move, but West Ham are blocking the transfer as they are hesitant to accept any deal involving a loan.

The next meeting will reportedly serve to access the situation and hopefully unlock negotiations.
