Roma are planning the long-awaited renewal for their star attacker Nicolo Zaniolo whose current contract is set to expire in 2025.
The capital club have dismissed the rumours regarding a potential transfer in the summer for the Italian international, with General Manager Tiago Pinto saying in a press conference last week that “Zaniolo was never close to leaving.”
Now, the capital club are laying the groundwork for the 23-year-old. According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi are set to meet with Claudio Vigorelli – the player’s agent – to discuss more in depth the matter of an extension until 2027.
Zaniolo would effectively become one of Roma’s top earners and a pillar in the club’s long-term project.
