Roma to open talks for Leonardo Spinazzola’s renewal

Roma are looking to extend Leonardo Spinazzola’s stay in the capital following his recent return from injury that kept him side-lined for the most part of last season.

Spinazzola’s contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire two years from now in 2024, which has reportedly prompted Roma to pursue the option of renewing it.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the capital club are planning to open talks for the 29-year-old’s renewal.

A lot will depend on whether the player is able to find consistency in performances in this new season as he has struggled in the opening games to this year’s campaign.
