Roma are considering the positive impact that Daniele De Rossi has had on the team in such a short amount of time since his appointment in mid-January.

The Italian technician and legendary club figure was able to lift the Giallorossi from a difficult moment and deliver 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss across Serie A and Europa League.

During this run, the team responded very well to De Rossi’s instructions and their only defeat came at the hands of the Serie A title favorites – Inter Milan.

According to Italian journalist Francesco Balzani for ForzaRoma.info, De Rossi’s impressive streak has prompted the Friedkins as well as Roma CEO Lina Souloukou to pursue the idea of giving De Rossi a long-term contract.

Balzani claims Roma could even hold a meeting with De Rossi at the end of this month, during the international break, to address the manager’s long-term future at the club.

The relationship between De Rossi and members of Roma’s upper management are extremely favorable for a positive conclusion to negotiations.
