Roma have come forward for Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk of Girona.

The 27-year-old is the latest name to be linked with the Italian capital club.

Following his recent season as La Liga’s top goal-scorer with 27 goals to his name, Dovbyk is looking for a move to a top club.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Roma are confirmed to enter the race for Dovbyk in the coming hours.

The player is in talks with Atletico Madrid who have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Girona.

However, Moretto claims Atletico have yet to complete an agreement with Dovbyk’s camp.

There is no agreement on the final terms of the player contract and commissions.

According to Moretto, Roma are monitoring the situation and, while negotiating with Sorloth of Villareal at the same time, want to present Dovbyk with a long-term proposal.

The player’s entourage will meet with the Giallorossi and listen to Roma’s offer later today before taking a decision on the player’s future.
