Roma are planning to address the future of head coach Jose Mourinho in the coming months.

Seeing as the Special One’s contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire in the summer of 2024, Roma are hoping to clarify his long-term intentions before the end of this year.

According to Leggo, the next three months will be crucial both for the club and Mourinho’s future given that the Portuguese technician has not entirely ruled out the possibility of extending his stay in the Italian capital.

Roma – similarly to Mourinho – want more reassurances for the future and thus will be evaluating the team’s results over the coming weeks.

Champions League qualification remains a key objective both for the club and the manager and will facilitate discussions for any further long-term options.
