Roma to renew interest in Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi in January

Despite not finding an agreement with Sassuolo for the transfer of ex-Primavera player Davide Frattesi in the summer, Roma are ready to renew their interest in the Italian midfielder in January.

As reported by calciomercato.com, General Manager Tiago Pinto intends to open mid-season talks with Sassuolo in order to complete a deal on more favorable terms as Roma continue hold 30% sell-on clause for Frattesi’s future sale.

The 22-year-old has reportedly agreed with the Neroverdi to accept a satisfying offer in exchange of Sassuolo letting him join his former club.

Roma are convinced that eventually an agreement will be found in the coming months.
