Roma have not given up on their pursuit of Torino’s Raoul Bellanova just yet.

The Giallorossi continue their search for a reliable right-back and Bellanova is reportedly the first name on Daniele De Rossi’s shortlist for the summer.

Bellanova is highly appreciated by the Roma boss who asked the club to try and put the pressure on Torino in letting him go.

Now, with less than three weeks remaining until the start of Roma’s new Serie A campaign, the capital club seem to be ready to renew talks with Torino.

According to Siamolaroma.it, after the new contacts made last week and the meeting held in Trigoria a few days ago with Bellanova’s entourage, in the next few days Roma will try to undermine Torino’s resistance with a new offer that will try to get closer to the valuation of around 20 million made by the Granata.

Intermediaries are working to study a formula that could also include the sale, in partial compensation, of a player from the squad: not only Zalewski is in the running. Torino are said to be interested in other members of Roma’s squad, too.
