The Friedkins are ready to extend the contract of Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto whose performance over the last year and a half since he first joined the club has impressed the new ownership.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the capital club are outlining a new proposal for the Portuguese director who was able to sign Paulo Dybala and Gini Wijnaldum on free transfers as well as rid Roma of several outstanding contracts.

Moreover, Pinto’s close collaboration with Mourinho is an aspect highly valued by the Friedkins who consider both director and manager to be the driving force of the club’s project.

More developments are expected to follow soon as Pinto’s current contract is valid until 2024.
