Despite an underwhelming performance which resulted in their defeat with Milan, Roma did not regroup at Trigoria on Saturday.
As the international break is set to open following this weekend’s matchday, the capital club – on Mourinho’s instructions – did not resume group training.
The Portuguese technician – who did not speak to the media following the disastrous Friday night result – decided to grant his players three days of rest.
Roma will thus return to the training facilities on Tuesday with the exception of 11 players out on international duty and with Houssem Aouar still questionable after going down with an apparent muscle injury on Friday.
