More details have emerged regarding Roma’s upcoming preseason.
The Giallorossi – with the exception of players currently away on international duty – will, like every year, regroup at Trigoria at the start of July.
Then, Il Romanista reports that Daniele De Rossi and his men will travel to England.
More specifically, Roma have agreed to stage the second half of preseason training in Burton Upon Trent near Birmingham.
The training will unfold in St George’s Park National Football Centre, the sports center of the English national team.
This is a choice based on many factors, claims the Italian news portal: from the climate (different compared to the scorching heat of the capital where the team will spend the first days of training) to the comforts of the headquarters of the Three Lions.
The facility has 12 training fields, SPA, gym, 282 hotel rooms, and much more.
During this period of time, Roma could also agree to stage preseason friendlies with some of the more prestigious Premier League clubs.
