Roma’s pursuit of Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa will heavily depend on their uncertain qualification to next year’s Champions League.

With only one more matchday left to go in Serie A, Roma still do not know whether they will be able to qualify for Champions League football.

This factor is said to be of fundamental importance in Roma’s transfer plans for the summer as Daniele De Rossi hopes to complete a major revolution within his squad for next season.

With Champions League football, Roma could try and lure Federico Chiesa who remains De Rossi’s preferred target to strengthen the team’s attack, reports Leggo.

Chiesa would only be a possibility for Roma in case of Champions League qualification since currently the Italian winger is yet to meet with Juventus to discuss his own future.

Following Massimiliano Allegri’s departure from the Bianconeri, chances of seeing Chiesa remain at Juventus have also increased.
