Roma to work on limiting muscular injuries in preseason

Roma’s preseason is less than two weeks away from its starting date.

Jose Mourinho and his staff will regroup a few days in advance at the club’s training facilities in order to prepare the necessary drills and group activities for when the players return from vacation.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho’s priority this time around is to prevent and limit as much as possible muscular injuries.

Over the course of last season, Roma suffered a total of 33 injuries, 19 of which were muscular and inevitably impacted the availability of several players during crucial stretches of the campaign.

As a result, Mourinho’s staff will prepare a series of activities that will be meant to ease players back into training without enhancing physical issues.
