The Giallorossi are increasingly looking ahead to the summer transfer window with GM Tiago Pinto carrying forward contacts with several international players. The latest name is Stephy Mavididi’s of Montpellier.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma want to replace their current wingers including Stephan El Shaarawy and Carles Pérez. Mavididi is one of the profiles the capital club are considering.
The 23-year-old has 8 goals and 3 assists to his name in 22 league appearances so far this season.
Mavididi’s versatility up front has drawn the interest of several clubs: the player can play as a winger, striker and even behind the number 9.
Roma have reportedly scouted him several times this season and Tiago Pinto may soo intensify contacts with the player’s entourage.
