Whispers from Brazil suggest Roma have set their sights on promising Sao Paolo starlet William Gomes.
According to Andrè Hernan, Brazilian journalist for Uol.com, Roma are on the trail of William Gomes, offensive winger born in 2006 who is currently playing for Sao Paolo.
Hernan claims that Roma have already held preliminary talks with Sao Paolo in recent weeks and may soon present their first offer for the 17-year-old.
The Giallorossi are seeking reinforcements for their youth squad which is set to play a more prominent role in Roma’s first team next year.
