Roma tried for Barella, but the player prefers Inter move


Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Roma have made an attempt to acquire Nicolò Barella. Reportedly, the Giallorossi tried to overtake Inter for the midfielder by offering Luca Pellegrini, Grégoire Defrel, and cash to Cagliari. The Rossoblu approved of the offer, however, Barella preferred a move to the Nerazzurri. Talks, therefore, stopped between the clubs.
