The race is on between Roma and Fenerbahce for Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Sevilla striker is a target for both clubs in this year’s summer transfer window.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are involved in a tight race with Jose Mourinho’s new team for the signing of En-Nesyri who is looking to leave Spain before the end of the summer after collecting 19 goals and 3 assists this past season.

Di Marzio adds that Fenerbahce are currently further ahead than Roma, but the Giallorossi are not giving up.

Roma are set to hold a meeting with En-Nesyri and his entourage to try and convince him to join Daniele De Rossi’s side.

En-Nesyri is currently enjoying his holidays but is expected to be back in Spain shortly, prompting Roma to schedule a meeting with his agents.
