Newcastle United have seen their most recent offer for Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo turned down by the Italian club.
Since demanding Roma to exclude him from the team sheet and requesting to be put on the club’s transfer list, Zaniolo has been linked with several clubs in Italy and abroad, including Newcastle United.
According to calciomercato.it, Roma have turned down an offer from the Magpies which consisted of €5 million loan fee with an obligation to buy for €35 million to be applied once the player completed 75% of remaining season appearances.
The capital club have reiterated once again their desire to make the deal permanent and will not consider any loan proposals.
