The Giallorossi’s pursuit of Olympique de Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara is reportedly being further complicated by the Frenchman’s extravagant salary demands.
According to Il Romanista, Roma are trying to off-load Amadou Diawara in order to sign an additional midfielder before the window closes. The latest name that has re-surfaced after links in the summer is that of Nahitan Nández.
The Cagliari player is notoriously unsatisfied with his situation in Sardinia following a failed transfer move to Inter in July 2021.
The Uruguayan international is considered a valid and more affordable alternative to Kamara, with reports of Cagliari being interested in Diawara who is currently away on international duty at AFCON.
