Roma have reportedly sounded out the possibility of bringing in Gaëtan Laborde from Nice.
Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is familiar with the 30-year-old forward.
So much so that today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Laborde is among the potential candidates to replace Eldor Shomurodov.
With Shomurodov closing in on a move to Empoli, the Giallorossi want to add one more striker to Claudio Ranieri’s disposal.
Laborde appears to be a fitting profile, having scored 6 goals and 2 assists in 12 appearances for Nice this season.
